Ferrari issuing team orders to favour Sebastian Vettel looks to have backfired and their rookie driver Charles Leclerc is not happy about it. Meanwhile, Daniel Ricciardo has avoided collisions in China.
After just 11 laps, Charles Leclerc was told to let Vettel through to chase the Mercedes out front.
Problem was, Leclerc actually had more pace and was not afraid to let his team know they had made an error.
Former driver Nico Rosberg was unhappy as was Martin Brundle who accused the team of “sacrificing” their rookie.
“They treated Leclerc too harshly,” Rosberg said. “Now they see it makes no difference and it’s unfair on Charles. He will have a chance at the end of the race, maybe we will see action at the end.”
